Diving course OWD
Basic diving course in English
The participant will gain international diving certification IANTD OWD which is accepted all over the world. This certification will allow you to dive to 18 m.
Conditions
- min. age 14 years (you must have your parents permission until you are
18 years old)
- good health condition
- basic swimming skills (200 m.)
The course consists of:
- 4 theoretical lessons (basic knowledge of physics, physiology, water environment
and accidents)
- 4 practical lessons in a swimming pool in Prague (swimming pool Slavia-Vršovice)
- Open water dives
The running of the course
The theoretical and practical lessons take from 2 weeks to 1 month (according to agreement). The theoretical lessons take place in ORCADIVING s.ro., Ledařská 433/9, Prague 4. every Tuesday or Thursday from 18:30. After these theoretical lessons there are practical lessons in a swimming pool from 21:00-22:00 (Slávie in Vršovice). After this part of the course there will be open water diving which consists of 4 dives. You can do these dives in a quarry in CR or abroad – Isle of Elba, Croatia, Corsica, Sardinia. The course finishes with a test from theoretical knowledge. During the whole course there will be a diving instructor who will take care of you.
Price: 5.700 Kč
The price includes:
theoretical and practical lessons, studying materials, lending of equipment, filling the tanks, final test ant international certification
Price doesn´t include:
transport to the place of open water diving , accommodation conected with this part of the course and open water dives.
